Disposable or reusable diapers?
Disposable or reusable diapers?
Should you use disposable or reusable diapers? Both alternatives have advantages and disadvantages. The obvious arguments are:
Disposable diapers:
Disposable diapers are most comfortable for the parents. You use it and you throw it away, that’s it. The disadvantages are that they are rather expensive in the end and they cannot be recycled.
Reusable diapers:Reusable diapers will give save you for a lot of money, but it will give you some more work. Unfortunately, there are only a few manufacturers of reusable diapers compared to manufactures of disposable diaper.
Raising children is a lot of work, that why most of us are using disposable diapers. The truth is that most of us are willing to sacrifice some of our money and a little piece of the environment so we are avoiding even more work. Is it time for a change of attitude among parents? Should somebody teach us how easy it is to use reusable diapers? We will change to reusable diapers immediate if somebody can prove that a life with reusable diapers is no more work than a life with disposable diapers since we also need more money…
We are planning to change the

Make your own soothing sounds using your radio or hi-fi
My wife and I had a hard time soothing my youngest daughter when she was 1-2 months old. Fortunately, I had heard the rumor that white noise should calm screaming babies. I took a quick search on the internet to find resources. I found some CDs and ordered these, but it was 1-2 weeks delivery time while I needed the white noise NOW. Searching through forums and articles did not give many tips. I read about a mother who had burned her vacuum cleaner while making white noise but I was not desperate enough to set our house on fire. I was thinking hard how to make white noise (I did not even know if it was working) and decided to use the radio. I tuned the radio to a frequency on the MW-band where I heard fragments of two channels together with a lot of noise. After 2 minutes, my screaming daughter was sleeping…WOW. When I got the compact disk that I ordered, I found one of them to be very useful but quite primitive. I thought that it must be possible to make these white noises at home. The
soothing sounds on this website are the result of my experiment and I found some of them to be very calming for my child. I also have gotten feedback from visitors that have found these
free soothing sounds helpful. Try the free alternatives before you use a lot of money on CD and white noise machines. You might turn on your vacuum cleaner for your child if you are desperate, but you I am warning you: it might start burning.
